Kibako is a new contemporary Japanese restaurant based in Fitzrovia’s Windmill Street.
Our menu offers unique and refined interpretations of well-known Japanese dishes, blending traditional techniques with modern flair. The restaurant is named after our signature kibako – expertly curated, omakase-style boxes of hand-crafted sushi and sashimi, chosen especially by the kitchen for our diners.
Dishes will combine specialist Japanese ingredients such as Sanpuku nori and Kagoshima Wagyu beef with the highest-quality produce from around the world, including hand-picked Maldon rock oysters and 36-month aged organic Parmigiano Reggiano.
Chef Padam Raj Rai, a highly skilled sushi chef with over 21 years of experience, leads the kitchen at Kibako London. Chef Padam trained as a sushi chef in Osaka, Japan before working at some of London’s best loved restaurants, including including Tsukiji Sushi at the Westbury Hotel, Nobu and Sake No Hana. In 2018, he joined the Hot Stone group as Executive Chef and Co-Owner of their first restaurant, Hot Stone.
